AFTER A SUCCESSFUL EVENT LAST SEASON, PHOENIX BLOODBOWL WILL ONCE AGAIN OPENED IT'S DOORS TO INVITED GUESTS FROM LOCAL GAMING GROUPS FOR AN INTER-CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP.

THIS WILL RUN OVER THREE SUNDAYS DURING JULY AND AUGUST (July 20th, July 27th, August 3rd)

VENUE: ST JAMES ON THE GRANGE, STYVECHALE, COVENTRY
TIME: 2PM -5PM
ENTRY FEE: £10 (THIS IS FOR ALL THREE DAYS AND THERE WILL BE FREE REFRESHMENTS ON SITE)

EVENT FORMAT
EACH TEAM WILL CONSIST OF THREE PLAYERS FROM ALL INVITED CLUBS WITH A PLAYER FROM EACH TEAM PUT INTO THREE GROUPS. EACH PLAYER WILL FACE OFF AGAINST EVERY PLAYER WITHIN THEIR GROUP.

COACHES WILL BE PAIRED BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT STARTS WITH A FULL FIXTURE LIST AVAILABLE DURING THE EVENT. GAMES WILL BE SET SO THAT INVITED PLAYERS DO NOT FACE AGAINST PLAYERS FROM THIER OWN CLUB. IN THE EVENT THAT A PLAYER IS UNAVAILABLE FOR THEIR GAME THEN A STANDBY PLAYER WILL TAKE THIER PLACE. IF TWO PLAYERS ARE UNAVAILABLE THEN THEIR OPPONENTS WILL FACE EACH OTHER INSTEAD.

THIS EVENT IS TO BE PLAYED UNDER RESURRECTION RULES, AND THEREFORE ALL TEAMS WILL START EACH MATCH AS ROSTERED. MATCHES WILL BE HELD TO A ONE HOUR TIME LIMIT WITH COACHES BEING REMINDED WHEN THE END OF EACH HALF IS DUE, ONCE THE FIVE MINUTE WARNING IS GIVEN EACH COACH WILL PLAY THEIR FINAL TURN AND THEN PLAY MUST END.​

WHAT TO BRING?
PLEASE BRING A CLEARLY MARKED TEAM WHERE EACH POSITIONAL PLAYER IS EASILY IDENTIFIED. ALSO PLEASE BRING ALL REQUIRED DICE AND TEMPLATES, WE DO HAVE A FEW SPARES BUT CANNOT COVER ALL MATCHES.

PHOENIX WILL PROVIDE ALL PITCHES FOR THIS EVENT AS WELL AS TWO COPIES OF YOUR REGISTERED TEAM ROSTER

EACH CASUALTY CAUSED BY YOUR TEAM = 1 POINT (MAX 6 PTS)
CLEAN SHEET = 5 POINTS

EACH PLAYER WILL PLAY A MAXIMUM OF 5 GAMES OVER THE THREE DAYS BUT ONLY THE BEST THREE SCORES WILL BE COUNTED TOWARDS THE PLAYER'S FINAL TOURNAMENT POINTS.

CLUB SCORING:
​EACH CLUB WILL COMBINE THEIR BEST 5 SCORES OVERALL TO ASCERTAIN THEIR FINAL TOURNAMENT POINTS.

TEAM BUILDING RULES
TEAMS CAN BE DRAFTED USING ANY OF THE TEAM ROSTERS FOUND IN THE BLOODBOWL RULEBOOK, SPIKE MAGAZINES OR THE BLOODBOWL TEAMS OF LEGEND PUBLISHED ON THE GW WEBSITE AS WELL AS SLANN FROM THE NAF WEBSITE. THE LATEST PUBLISHED TEAM LIST AS OF JULY 1ST WILL BE USED.

ALL STARTING TEAMS WILL BE DRAFTED WITH A STARTING BUDGET OF 600K TO BUILD WITH. A MINIMUM OF 7 PLAYERS MUST BE BOUGHT AND UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 11 PLAYERS.

EACH TEAM MAY TAKE UP TO 4 POSITIONAL PLAYERS FROM ANY TEAM WITH LIMITATIONS ON THE NUMBER OF THOSE PLAYERS AS STATED ON THE TEAM ROSTERS E.G. ONLY TWO WARDANCERS ALLOWED AS THAT IS THE MAXIMUM ON THE WOOD ELF TEAM. THE POSITIONAL PLAYERS CAN BE FROM FOUR DIFFERENT TEAMS.

ALL THE REST OF THE TEAM MUST BE LINEMEN FROM ONE SINGLE TEAM.

ONLY THE FOLLOWING INDUCEMENTS MAY BE ADDED TO YOUR ROSTER DURING TEAM BUILDING. NO ADDITIONAL INDUCEMENTS WILL BE ALLOWED AS TEAMS WILL BE DECLARED OF EQUAL TEAM VALUE AT THE START OF THE TOURNAMENT.
